So we have found our home for this September and it's going to be The Winter's guest house. We loved it there so much we asked them if we could rent it for the year and thankfully they said yes! We are really excited and would like to show you all some pics of the house and of Maya's school (the white one) and Violet's pre-school (the pink one)! Both girls visited their classes and were introduced to the teachers and pupils with much Portuguese friendliness and Bom dia's.
It was great to see all The Winter family including Vonny's mum Arlene who cooked amazing food for us all every night. Spoilt of what? Vonny worked hard on what is turning out to be a most beautiful garden, it makes me want to sing Minnie Ripperton songs when I see her hoeing away. Andy knows just about everyone for miles around and introduced us to them all. We definitely felt at home. Thanks guys.
we miss you already. twas lovely to spend so much time with you all. how gorgeous are maya and violet? looking forward to your arrival. need to talk to you about registering the girls with the schools. paperwork needed soon.
ReplyDeletealso just to let you know we were surrounded by a family of wild boar tonight up on the tarmac road about 100m before the sign Moses. 8 baby light brown ones with stripes and spots. and 2 pretty vast adults. very cool.
